There are moments in life when an idea begins quietly. Not as a business plan… not as a grand strategy… but simply as a question.

What if we tried?

That question became the beginning of Coco’s Chicken.

Our journey started with a simple desire: to produce healthy, natural chicken and eggs while building something meaningful here in Africa. What seemed simple at first quickly turned into a real education about farming, patience, and perseverance.

When we first brought our chickens to the farm in Tanzania, we were full of excitement. We imagined rows of healthy birds, baskets full of fresh eggs, and the satisfaction of producing food from our own land.

But farming has a way of humbling you.

We quickly learned that raising chickens is not just about feeding birds and waiting for eggs. It involves understanding feed quality, climate changes, disease prevention, predator protection, and the delicate balance of keeping animals healthy.

Some days were encouraging. Other days were frustrating.

We faced challenges with feed costs, slow egg production, and the everyday realities that many farmers across Africa understand all too well. There were moments when it would have been easier to give up.

But every farmer knows something important:

The land rewards patience.

Instead of quitting, we learned. We adjusted. We studied our birds, our environment, and the rhythms of the farm.

Little by little, things began to improve.

Coco’s Chicken is not just about selling poultry. It is about building a farm that values quality, natural practices, and sustainability. Our goal is to provide fresh, healthy chicken and eggs to the community while developing a farm that can grow stronger each year.

We believe agriculture is one of the most powerful ways to build independence and opportunity in Africa. When you grow food locally, you strengthen families, communities, and the economy.

Our farm is still growing. Every batch of chickens teaches us something new. Every season brings new lessons.

But one thing is certain:
